To qualify for the New Beginnings Baby Shower Experience, the expecting mother must meet at least one of the following:

• Young or first‑time mother
• Currently in a shelter or transitional housing
• Impacted by domestic violence
• Experiencing financial hardship or limited resources
• Lacking family or community support
• Referred by a school, shelter, caseworker, social worker, healthcare provider, community organization, or self‑referral

To qualify for a Birthday Blessings celebration, the child (ages 1–19) must meet at least two of the following:

• Living in a shelter or transitional housing
• Part of a low‑income or unsupported household
• Impacted by family crisis, instability, or hardship
• Child of a single parent or young parent
• Referred by a school, shelter, caseworker, social worker, community organization, healthcare provider, or self‑referral

• All referrals must be submitted through our secure Google Form, available on each program page.
• Families may be referred by schools, shelters, caseworkers, social workers, healthcare providers, community partners, or by the parent/guardian themselves
• Our team reviews eligibility and capacity each quarter.
• We strive to serve at least one applicant from each program every quarter.
• Every applicant — whether selected or not — will receive an email update with next steps or waitlist information.
